On the charge for not paying the taxes on consecutive years-1999, 2000 and 2001- Wesley Snipes, the forty-eight year old Hollywood star for Blades movie, have been put behind the bars for a duration of three years. The sentences had been carried out by the US court. After proven to be guilty, he has pleaded William Terrell Hodges, a Floridian judge to go through his cases again in order to have a fresh trial. Wesley had only been granted bail on the basis that there were some jurors who were biased against him. But! this went denied by Judge Hodges and thus he later ruled against Wesley. In his verdict, Hodges had clearly stated that “Snipes had a fair and impartial trial and his case was carefully reviewed. So, it was now the time for the verdict to come in force. Snipes must go to jail due to his deliberate action.” Despite the fact that the verdict was already announced, Snipes' attorney Daniel Meachum has affirmed that the star is very calm and that he shall now make an appeal to the US Supreme Court.
